Abacoa started out with a plan to build a place for working, living and playing all inside your community. The idea was to have a large mixed use community with schools, business and activities. They offered Downtown at Abacoa to have shopping, restaurants and events. The Roger Dean Stadium brought in Spring training and baseball. This continues to be a huge draw to Abacoa for both families that live here as well as tourists who follow the game. They put in a beautiful golf course as well as County Parks all inside the community. They brought in Scripps Research and Florida Atlantic University as well. The entire concept was to give you a lifestyle inside your community. Living in Abacoa.

From 1 bedroom condos in Downtown Abacoa for students attending FAU or single professionals looking to live inside a community with plenty to do. Once outside of the Downtown we move to the more traditional communities with townhomes and single family homes. The basic townhomes are either small or large 3 bedroom townhomes with only a few different floorplans in all. The single family homes are mixed in with the townhomes but in a separate section. Most of the townhomes will be on the main streets while the homes will be back off the main streets. The Jupiter single family homes range from a few 2bd homes in a few communities to 1,800 sq. ft 3bd one story homes as the entry model. The largest homes are 3,500 sq. ft until recently when even larger homes were being built in Mallory Creek on Estate size lots.
Valencia in Abacoa
This luxury custom home community inside Abacoa has always been a popular section in Abacoa. There were 4 custom home builders that built in Valencia. Each home has different floor plans and are much larger homes than most of Abacoa. Valencia in Abacoa gives you the feel of Palm Beach with excessive amounts of landscaping to offer privacy and an expensive look. One of my favorite communities to look at if you are thinking of living in Abacoa.
